At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.
We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. Our ales come from the excellent local Mantle, Bluestone and Cardigan Bay microbreweries, all of which are of an excellent quality. We offer a range of good quality Tanners wines, cocktails and spirits to compliment our menu. On tap we also have Carling and San Miguel lagers, along with Guinness, Kopparberg and Thatchers draught ciders. You can also choose from a range of coffee choices made from freshly ground coffee beans.
