At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and particularly about the excellent quality produce that is available locally. All of our food is sourced locally, freshly prepared and cooked from scratch by Head Chef Joe Jones, who is supported by a strong kitchen team.
Our menu is intended to showcase our Chefs’ talents in all areas of cooking including the favourite traditional pub food and Sunday dinners. Joe cooks with skill and passion and this, along with the use of the best ingredients we can find, results in our food being of the highest quality.

Lunch is served Thursday to Sunday between 12.00 midday until 2.30pm. Closed for lunch Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dinner is served between 6.00pm and 9pm Monday to Friday, 5pm to 9pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday evenings for dinner (bar open!) until Mothers Day on March 22nd - special menu to follow, booking essential.
Traditional roast lunch is served on a Sunday with a separate children's menu available too.
Vegan & Vegetarian Evening

We would be delighted to cater for your special dietary needs, and there are a number of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options to choose from our daily and specials menu's. We often run Vegan & Vegetarian evenings that are very popular, please follow our Facebook page or keep an eye here for the next event.
