Due to COVID19 guidelines we have a limited number of "pet free" tables inside with the majority being outside. In the event of inclement weather, we may have to cancel outside table bookings at short notice.
At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and particularly about the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is sourced locally, freshly prepared and cooked from scratch by Head Chef Jai Johnson, who is supported by a strong kitchen team.
Our menu is intended to showcase our Chefs’ talents in all areas of cooking including the favourite traditional pub food and Sunday lunches. Jai cooks with skill and passion and this, along with the use of the best local ingredients we can find, results in our food being of the highest quality.
We have a range of different menus, along with a "Specials" menu which changes daily and contains more fish and seafood options (not available during Aug/Sept only summer menu). Which you can see by clicking the links below :-
Dinner - served Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 9pm (last table bookings from 8pm)
Lunch - served Friday and Saturday between 12pm and 3pm (last table bookings from 2pm)
Sunday Lunch - traditional roast served between 12pm and 4pm (last table bookings from 3pm)
Closed on Sunday Evenings
We would be delighted to cater for your special dietary needs, and there are a number of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options to choose from our menu. We often run Vegan & Vegetarian evenings that are very popular, please follow our Facebook page or keep an eye out here for the next event.
We cannot accommodate pets inside currently, however, well behaved dogs are welcomed outside in the beer gardens.
